Another Secret Half-Pipe

There is a hidden half pipe in Chinatown. It is located near the tower. You first have to find the tower. It is the one that is red, white, and is shown on the track selection screen. After that, you have to find the two white houses. Go between them. Tadah!! It is hard to do tricks on, but it is pretty cool.
Reach The Sky

To do this, you need to use the Extreme cars or the Special cars, and you need the gravity on low (with the balloon). Go to track 4, mirror off and backwards off. Find a way to get up about 135 MPH down the long dead end street near the sculpture. Once you do that, just stay on the left-hand sidewalk. stay straight and then once you get on the grass, keep going straight. You will hit a bump before flying, but don't try to correct the direction, unless you have spun out before hand. It should work.
Land EVERY Jump

Whatcha gotta do, is when you about to go off a jump, press (exactly) right on the control stick, down C, and A (ignition) all at the same time, exactly when you hit the jump, and hold it all the way until you hit the ground. If you hit a wall or something before you hit the ground or stop moving, it might not work.This trick is hard to master, you have to get it at the exact right time and hit that combanation at the same time. A good place to try this out is in Pappy Land (the stunt area) in level 6.
Note: If it's not working, check to see if when your doing the combanation, your holding EXACTLY right on the control stick. If your not, it may not work.
Another Note: If your already holding A (ignition) all you have to do is just hold right on the control stick and down C while your holding A exactly when you go off a jump and until you hit the ground and stop moving.
Abort Glitch
In order for this code to happen you must hold down the brake while you are stopped. Then hit the abort button UP-C while still holding the brake down. As long as you hold the brake down, your car will never come back down.
For this glitch you need to turn resurrect in place code. Skip the Chinatown shortcut, and steer right. There will be a road that heads left, then up. At the very top (before the road slopes down) look on the right for a wooden gate with an opening on the right side. Slowly go through the opening, and look to the wall on the left. Drive down to that wall, and you will find a tunnel in the wall to your right. Go through the tunnel, and you will enter a room painted like the sky. Once you get out of the tunnel immediately turn around and head the other way. You should hit the top of the tunnel and explode. The game will pick you up and you will free fall for about 5 seconds. This doesn't work every time but when it does its pretty neat.
ALCATRAZ TRACK
1. Complete a Circuit Mode and receive an ending (with the F1 car).
2. Enter the "One Race" mode and go to the Car Select screen.
3. Hold Left C and press the Z Button. Release both buttons and press Left on the Control Pad/Stick.
4. Back out (press B several times) to the Main Menu and enter the Setup screen.
5. Hold Up C and press the Z Button. Release both buttons and press Up.
6. Back out to the Main Menu, then re-enter the "One Race" mode and go to the Track Select screen.
7. Hold Right C and press the Z Button. Release both buttons and press Right.
8. Choose a track and enter the Car Select screen and hold Down C and press the Z Button. Release both buttons and press Down, L, R.
9. If you entered the code correctly, you will hear a trumpeting noise.
10. Back up one screen to the Track Select screen and scroll through the tracks to see the island of Alcatraz.
Note: Once the code has been entered, the track can be used in any mode. Alternate method using a Password
This can be used by players who haven't completed a Circuit
1. Go to the Circuit Mode and select "Just Play". Highlight "Enter Code" and press the A Button. Enter the following code:
2. After entering the code, select "Continue Circuit" and enter the race. Allow the timer to expire.
3. After viewing the credits, press Start to return to the Main Menu. Complete steps 2-10 of the Alcatraz Track code normally.
BACK TIRE SIZE
This will switch between small, medium, and large back tires. How to Enter: On the Car Select screen, press and hold Right C then Left C and release both buttons. Then press and hold Left C then Right C to activate the code. The car in the viewing window will reflect the changes. Use the code repeatedly to change between the different tire sizes.
BURNING CAR REPLAY
This displays a replay of the race, but your car is displayed as a burnt-out hulk. How to Enter: As you cross the finish line, crash your car. After "Game Over" starts flashing, and before it has stopped flashing, hold down the L, R and Z Buttons until the post-game high score display demo begins. Your car will still be crashed and burning, but will be driving around the track is if nothing was wrong.
CAR SIZE
This changes your car between small, regular, and large sizes. How to Enter: On the Car Select Screen press and hold Down C then Up C and release both buttons. Then press and hold Up C then Down C and release both buttons to activate the code. The car in the viewing window will reflect the changes. Repeat the code to switch to the next size.
CHANGE FOG COLOR
This changes the color of the fog between several different colors. How to Enter: On the Car Select Screen hold the Z Button and press Down C, Down C, Down C. The color of the fog in the viewing window will change.
CHANGE GRAVITY
Changes the game gravity to increase or decrease the weight of the car. How to Enter: On the Setup screen hold the Z Button and press Up, Down on the Control Pad/Stick. Release the Z Button and press Up, Down, Up, Down. The symbol of a weight will appear along the top of the screen. Repeat the code to switch between several gravity options.
CHANGE TRACK TEXTURES
Switches between normal, no textures, or rainbow textures. How to Enter: On the Setup screen, press and hold Right C then press the L Button. Release both buttons, then press the Z Button. Press and hold Right C then press the L Button and release both buttons. Press the Z Button again to activate the code. If the code is entered correctly, a small checkered pattern will appear along the bottom of the screen. Repeat the code to switch between the different textures.
CHANGE VIEWING DISTANCE
This will allow players to change the camera viewing distance and height when viewing the car from behind.. How to Enter: During a race, hold the View (L Button) and press Up or Down on the Control Pad/Stick to change the camera distance.
CONES TO MINES
This turns all of the road cones into land mines. How to Enter: On the Setup screen, press L,R,L,R,L,R. A small road cone symbol will appear if the code is entered correctly. Repeat the code to turn this option off.
DISABLE AUTO ABORT
This disables the auto abort in San Francisco Rush. Normally, if a car stops for a period of time (i.e. stuck on a wall), the game will automatically move the car back to the course. How to Enter: On the Setup screen, press Up C, Up C, Up C, Up C. A small icon with "00.06" will appear along the bottom of the screen if the code is entered correctly. Repeat the code to turn this option off.
DISABLE CAR-TO-CAR COLLISIONS
This turns on and off car collisons, allowing your car to pass through other cars without taking damage. How to Enter: On the Setup screen, press Left then hold Right then press Right C and release both buttons, then press Up C, Left C, Down C, Z Button. A bus icon will appear along the bottom of the screen if entered correctly. Repeat the code to turn this option off.
DRIVE A BURNT OUT HULK
On the car select screen, hold up C and press Z, Z, Z, Z. Repeat the code to switch between smoking hulk, burt-out hulk, or normal hulk.
FOGGY NIGHT
Entering this code changes the sky and fog to night-time colors. How to Enter: On the Options screen, highlight "Fog" and hold all four C Buttons while pressing Left/Right on the Control Pad/Stick. An extra option will be available called "Foggy Night."
FRONT TIRE SIZE
This code allows the player to change between small, normal, and large front tire sizes. How to Enter: On the Car Select Screen press and hold Left C then Right C. Release both buttons. Press and hold Right C then Left C, then release both buttons to activate the code. Changes will be displayed in the viewing window. Repeat the code to switch between the different sizes.
INFINITE TIME
This code disables the time clock. How to Enter: On the Setup screen, hold the Z Button, then press and hold Down C then Up C. Continue to hold the Z Button, and release the C Buttons. Press and hold Up C then Down C to activate the code. A small clock with line through it will appear if the code is entered correctly. Repeat the code to deactivate this option.
MIRROR CONTROLS
This changes all controls so left is right and vice versa. How to Enter: On the Options screen, highlight "Mirror" and hold all four C Buttons. Press Left/Right on the Control Pad/Stick to view an extra option called "Extreme."
RANDOM HIGH SCORE NAMES
Any unused entries in the list which would normally be filled with the default names and scores will cycle randomly. How to Enter: When viewing the Fast Times or Best Laps information from the Records screen, press L, R, L, R, L, R, L, R.
RESURRECT IN PLACE
This will attempt to place the car at the same spot as where the car was destroyed. It will make one attempt to place the car in the same spot but if it cannot, it will then will move the car back onto the track.How to Enter: On the Setup screen, hold the Z Button, then press and hold Left C then Right C. Continue to hold the Z Button, and release the C Buttons. Press and hold Right C then Left C to activate the code. A small "R" with line through it will appear if the code is entered correctly. Repeat the code to deactivate this option.
SPECIAL CAR IN CIRCUIT MODE
Allows players to use a special car during the circuit races. How to Enter: Win a Circuit in 1st place on the Medium difficulty. From then on, if you are using the same player, you can Press Z, Z, Z, Z on the Track Select screen to enable the special car, the F1.
TAG MODE
Allows players to play a special game of tag. How to Enter: Hit the abort button during the countdown sequence at the start of a 2-player practice game. The timer will be set to 5 minutes. When you're IT, your timer is running. IT must tag the other player to stop his timer and make the other player IT. The newly-IT player will resurrect in place, causing a delay and giving the former IT time to escape. Player 2 is always IT first. When time runs out, "Game Over" shows until someone presses Start.
TURN CAR INTO MINE
Replaces the car in the viewing window with an orange mine. This is only for viewing purposes, and the car will not appear as a mine during the actual race. How to Enter: On the Car Select screen, press Right C, Right C, Z, Down C, Up C, Z, Left C, Left C. Perform the code again to view the cars normally.
UPSIDE DOWN MODE
Flips the courses upside-down. How to Enter: On the Setup screen, press Up, Right, Down, Left, Down, Right, Up, Left on the Control Pad/Stick. A small pair of arrows will appear at the bottom of the screen if the code is entered correctly. Enter the code again to disable this option.
