Pitching Trick

I have a trick that will allow your pitchers to pitch every day in season mode! First of all, when you begin a season, choose injuries off and Free agents on. Then Play a game. When your finished, go to free agents, Select your pitcher (His name should be in orange to indicate he's tired) and select another pitcher to replace him on the roster. Then go back and Replace the scrubb with your original Pitcher and Whala! He's not tired anymore and he can pitch every day with the same amount of strength. This trick works for starting and relief pitchers and only in season modes.

Surefire Steal 2

This trick will allow you to steal a base every time, even with the slowest players. Most times, the catcher will not even attempt a throw. Here's the trick: On the first pitch of every at-bat, the pitcher will throw the pitch after the green cross (pitch target) has flashed three times. This allows you to get great timing to steal the base. So get your three step lead as the pitcher is waiting, then as the target disappears for the third time, take off running. I've stolen second and third base every time with every person on my team. Although, it is slightly easier to steal second than third because you have an extra split second to spare. This trick will only work against the computer, obviously. For this to work, though, the pitcher cannot be tired. If he is, he goes through several motions (wiping of brow, bending over) which throws off the timing. If you want to steal later in the at-bat (after the first pitch), you should know that the target only shows up once, and you can run after it starts to disappear for the first time, but you have to be quick to do this. You need to practice this trick to get it to work with slower players, but it's really easy to learn.

Play in Secret Team's Stadiums

Okay first do the code to get the secret teams. Then choose your teams as usual. Don't pick a stadium, go into any stadium by pressing the Z button. Then leave by pressing the B button. Now search for AS for Angel Studios and N for Nintendo 64. Once you find them pick that stadium and play the game as usual.

Surefire Steal

Wait till you have runners at first and third. Hit the R button three times to make them take a big lead. When the pitcher throws the pitch it the C up button to make the runner on first steal second. If you did it right, the catcher will try to chase down the runner on third, who runs back to the base. This gives the stealing runner enough time to beat the throw with time to spare.

Rested Pitchers

If your pitcher is tired, drop him into free agency, then go right back to free agency and pick him up.
NOTE: Don't do this if he is injured.t

View Opponent's Line-up

To view your opponent's line-up, press C-DOWN at the line-up screen.
NOTE: You will not be able to see it if you dont have a game the next day. This also works with your bullpen.

Flying Fielders

This trick will allow nine of you fielders to fly. After fielding a ball on a play run to any base except first. Throw the ball around the bases in this order: 1,2,3,H,3,2,H,1,2,3,H. On the next play instead of picking up the ball press A a couple of times and your fielder will jump into the air, press B to "swim" around the stadium, but if you saty sill for too long you will drop, then you can just press a again and start flying.

Blowup Your Batter

This code must be entered quickly. When your batting press(on the D-Pad)Right,Left,Down,Right,Left,Up,Right,Left,Down, and you batter should blowup. Don't worry he will reappear the next pitch.

Start A Fight

When You are batting and the CPU Player hits your batter just hold down all four C buttons and the Z button, and this will start a brawl.

Griffey's Home Run

This code will only work with Ken Griffey and on anything else but Home Run Dreby. When Griffey come up to bat press START, (on the D-Pad) Left, Left, Right, Right, Right, Left, Left and Griffey should point to the stands with his bat. And if you hit the very next pitch you'll hit a home run.

Hidden Teams:

When you are in the Mode Screen (Exhibition, Season, etc...) press the joystic up once so Exhibition gets highlighted. Then Press all four C button at the same time until you hear a beep, (This means the code is activated). Then you can either go to exhibition, or World Series, and when you are choosing your you should see, Two teams that are added. They are, Team Nintendo, and Angel Studios.

Note: This code DOES NOT work in Season Mode.

Two Strikouts For One:

When you are pitching let one of the computer players get on. Then strikeout the next batter and as soon as he strikes out make the back catcher throw the ball to the base that the runner is on. This will make the one strikout count as two.

See Opponents Pitches:

When you are playing a One Player game, plug in the second controller, and if you press the R button, you can see the opponents pitches and status.

Pitcher Dance:

At the pitching/batting screen press these buttons on the control pad: Up, Up, Down, Left, Left, Right, Right, Left, Left, Down, Up and Up, and you pitcher should start dancing.

Batter Dance:

At the pitching/batting screen press these buttons on the control pad: Up, Up, Down, Left, Left, Right, Right, Left, Left, Down, Up and Up and your batter should start dancing.

Know Opponents Pitch:

To find out where the CPU pitcher is going to throw the ball on his next pitch, press the B button and as soon as the pitcher starts to throw the batting circle will move with the hitting cursor. Then release the B button, and hit as you would normally do.

Make Griffey Talk:

To Make Griffey talk you have to make the CPU player hit a fly ball, and before you player is about to catch the ball press the B button. If done correctly, Griffey should say: "Look at that one handed grab", or "Great play Kid".

View Ending (World Series Champions):

To view the ending you have to highlight exhibition, then pick any team that you want. When you do, this should take you to the stadium select screen. Here press all the C buttons at the same time until you here a beep. Then press the Z button, then sit back and watch the team make a fool of themselves.

Unhittable Pitch:

When you are pitching, take the pitching cursor out of the hitting circle. Then press and hold the Z button. While you are holding the Z button, press and hold either C right, C up, or C left. Then make sure you release the Z button first then the C button. If this code is done correctly, the pitching curso and the batting circle should both be gone.

Hint: Try to throw Changeups so your pitcher wont get too tiered.

Shoot Fireworks:

To make this code work you have to go into exhibition. Then pick any team you want. But when you are picking the stadium instead of pressing start press the Z button. This should take you into the stadium so you can view it. Now if you want to shoot fireworks press the R and Z button at the same time. The firework shoot up beside home plate.
