Infinite Penalties
Choose any team and commit a passing interference call. After that, pick your defense quickly. If the flag is still on the ground and the referee doesn't pick it up, the announcer will say there's a flag down. Repeat as desired.
Play as All Time Stats Leaders
Go to Season mode and select the Create-A-Player screen. Type his name in as Stats Men. His atrributes can be set to anything. Press save then hit B twice to the main screen. Go to exhibition mode and you can acess the All Time Stats Leaders.
Electronic Arts Team
Go to the create a player screen type ELEC ARTS Now go to exibiton Near All-Madden you will see the Electronic Arts Team
Play As NFC Pro Bowl Team
To play as the NFC Pro Bowl Team, go to the create a player screen. type in his name as Lei. After that, hit Continue and then Save. Press B twice to the main screen and go to exhibition. Now you can access the NFC Pro Bowl Team.
Go to season mode, go to the front desk, go to create a player and type in the words AT_MADDEN (The _ is a space) as the player's name. Now save the player and go to exibition mode. Scroll through the teams you should now find the secret team near the All-Madden team. You can use this team only in exibition mode.
Cheat the Coin Toss
This is how you get a second chance at the coin toss: Once the coin lands, tap rapidly the C-button that goes to "help." The coin toss will then start over and you have a second try!

SIXTIES - Team of the 60's
SEVENTIES - Teaem of the 70's
EIGHTIES - Team of the 80's
HOWLIE - AFC Pro Bowl '96-'97
TIBURON - Best Team
ELEC ARTS - Electronic Arts team (as good as Tiburon)
LEI - 1996 NFC Pro Bowl Team
STATS MEN - Statistical Leaders Team

Mega Jump
When you are playing with two players in Madden 64, you can make a player fly. To do so, have the 1st player start pressing B to call audible as fast as they can. The 2nd player should press jump (left c) as fast as they can. The 2nd player will eventually jump continually on top of the screen. If you get him high enough, the instant replay will also be really screwed up.
Credits Cheat
Hold R, L and Z when it says (EA SPORTS) at the beginning of the game and you will get taken to what happens if you beat the game.
