To play as POJO:

To be POJO, you must perform Taria's execution in the one-player mode (and then continuing) or in the two-player mode. Then on your next match, go to Taria on the select screen and hold down START. POJO will appear -- make sure you continue to hold down START and press the QUICK button to select.

BASIC COMBOS:

COMBOABLE SPECIALS:

Chop - F + Q + S

Charge - B, F + Q

STAND ALONE SPECIALS:

Egg Launch - Jump up and press Q & S

Explosion - Q + S + K

To play as Grendal:

Starting in the two-player mode, one player must have three wins. Then on your next match, pick the Executioner from the select screen and hold down START. Grendal will appear. Continue to hold down START and press the QUICK button to select.

Air Quick - During a jump, press Q when close to the ground

Stage Select

In the two-player mode, players will fight in the home stage of the character chosen last -- that is, unless a code is entered. To enter a stage select code, move to each character listed and tap START after each one, then go to your desired character and select as usual. All of these codes are for the two-player mode, except the Random AI trick.

• Battle in a Mini Golf Course (Koyasha, Mordus Kull, Takeshi)
• Battle at Grendal's Stage (Namira, Koyasha, Taria)
• Battle at Grendal's stage (Mordus Kull, Taria, Ragnar)
• Battle at Machu Pichu (Namira, Koyasha, Taria)
• Battle in the Castle (Mordus Kull, Taria Ragnar)
• Battle in San Francisco Rush (Xiao Long, Al' Rashid, Koyasha)
• Battle with a Big Noggin' (Ragnar, Al' Rashid, Takeshi)
• Battle in Micronaut Mode (Takeshi, Al' Rashid, Ragnar, Xiao Long)
• Battle in Super Speed Grid Mode (Ichiro, Xiao Long, Koyasha)
• Battle the Random A. (Hell Knight, Xiao Long, Dregan, Namira)

To select a particular stage in which to fight, go to the character's portrait on the player select screen and tap START four times. Then select your character as usual.

Change Character Colors

For different colors for your character, hold down any of the yellow C buttons while selecting a character and you can change their color. You can also press L or R to change colors.

Unlimited Continues Trick

Want unlimited continues in Mace: The Dark Age? It's possible when you perform this "trick" because of a quirk in the game. Just follow these steps (make sure you have a second controller plugged in):

Start a one-player game

Lose and then continue

When the next match begins, press start on controller two

Have player two beat player one

Have player two lose to the computer

When it says continue, press start on controller one

By repeating this trick when necessary, your credits should never run out.
